About Us

Henry is a 1982 graduate of Pittsburg High School, and was awarded its Distinguished Alumni Award in 2015.

Henry graduated from the University of Kansas, with honors, with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Environmental Studies.

Henry received his Juris Doctorate degree from The Washburn University School of Law, with honors, in 1991.

Henry served as co-prosecutor for the City of Pittsburg, Kansas from 1997 until 2001. In 2001 Henry became the City Attorney for the City of Pittsburg, Kansas; a position which both his grandfather, Charlie, and father, Chuck, had also held during their legal careers. Henry continues in that role today. Henry has also served as the Interim Human Resources Manager for the City of Pittsburg, Kansas for ten months in 2010.

While attending law school at Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas, Henry served as a law clerk at the Kansas Insurance Department in both the Fire and Casualty Division and the Life and Health Division, and also at McAnany, VanCleave & Phillips, P.A. in Kansas City, Kansas.

Henry served on the Board of Directors of Miners State Bank in Frontenac, Kansas from 2001 until 2008, and was the Property Manager and Secretary/Treasurer of Pittsburg Enterprises, Inc. from 1993 until 2003.

Henry currently serves on the Kansas Court of Appeals Nominating Commission, and is currently a member of the City Attorneys Association of Kansas and the Crawford County Bar Association; serving as President in 1997.

Henry was voted the Four States Finest Law Firm/Lawyer in 2018 by the viewers of KOAM TV7/FOX 14 TV in Southeast Kansas.
